There are a few things that Copenhagen is famous for- Hygge (art of coziness,) cycling, unparalleled Danish design, and being the new foodie’s paradise. I took the short 45 minute flight from Berlin to Copenhagen to explore the city’s gastro scene this week because lately it’s been all the hype. I checked into Nobis Hotel Copenhagen as my home away from home for a few days. The hotel resides right next to Tivoli Gardens along with the Central Train Station, putting you right in the center of it all. The historical building was constructed in 1903 and while its elegantly timeless roots remain, it has been transformed into a luxurious 5 star contemporary hotel. The Swedish architect, Gert Wingårdh was the genius behind the creation and manifested the brilliant ambience. Additionally, in the midst of the culinary boom in the city, they are launching a brand new restaurant NOI under culinary pioneer Fredrik Danber. The restaurant harmonizes European influences and focuses on a sharing style eating concept.
