I got to spend the weekend with friends in West Berlin's vibrant Ku'Damm 101 Hotel. The hotel is found right off Kurfürstendamm, one of the most famous shopping streets in Berlin- gorgeous wide promenades, white ornate architecture, and a steady hum of busy city life passing by. The design hotel has super bright and well light rooms with a minimalism concept where you can throw your curtains open and admire the cityscape surrounding you. You can enjoy your mornings with a delicious breakfast buffet on the hotel's top floor with sprawling views of Berlin's rooftops. During the day you can sip on a coffee and read a book in the quiet and shaded garden, or book yourself a spa treatment and relax in the sauna. In the evenings you can grab yourself a fancy cocktail and catch up with friends in the lively hotel bar. Room sizes range to accommodate the solo traveler, couples, along with friends and families. From here you are surrounded by museums, street side European cafes, old theaters, and endless shopping. You're also close to the beautiful Tiergarten and not too far from Grunewald and plenty of lakes and trails for long bike rides!
