1687 RESTAURANT & CAFE: MEDITERRANEAN-FRENCH CUISINE IN THE HEART OF BERLIN
While walking down the boulevard Unter den Linden you find yourself surrounded by beautiful architecture, rich history, and an abundance of culinary treats. Yet tucked away on the secluded Neustädtischer Kirchplatz, 1687 Restaurant and Cafe is a gastro treasure right in heart of the city. I had the honor of meeting the inspiration head chef, Tomasz Trabski who is the prodigy behind the cuisine. The restaurant serves modern European food with a touch of French intonations. Trabski focuses on high quality ingredients that are precisely sourced from regional producers. He seeks to operate with small factories and local suppliers which is an advantage not only to guests but to the company and environment alike. While Trabski hails from Poland, he as worked in many countries including France, Great Britain, the US, Ireland, and Turkey which has generated his foundation for diverse approach.
